MB&F, Back to the dream

MB&F ties with automotive runs deep, in 2012, Max Büsser creates the HM5, a tribute to driver’s watches, and to those heroes who tried to contrast the Japanese quartz invasion in the 70’s by creating mechanical watches with digital display.

After that, MB&F launches the HMX in 2015, and then in 2016 with the HM8 Can-Am, all instantly recognizable by their speedometer-style display on the side of the case.

This year the saga continues with the HM8 Mark 2, the most advanced to date. The base caliber, with its Double Battle-Axe shaped rotor that spins like there is no tomorrow, is visible through the top sapphire glass.

The case is an aerodynamic sandwich of grade 5 titanium, CarbonMacrolon®, and an hyper-complex sapphire crystal.

The bi-directional jumping hours module is underneath the base movement: Two discs are optically magnified and projected to you thanks to three-faced prisms in sapphire crystal.

The MB&F HM8 Mark 2 is available in two versions:

• Titanium and white CarbonMacrolon® body panel
• Titanium and green CarbonMacrolon® body panel limited to 33 pieces.
